Launched in 2023, Pray Every Name exists to change the spiritual climate surrounding young people across the State of Alabama.

At the heart of what we do is a deep commitment to focused, intentional prayer—praying for students in the schools and communities where we live. Our vision is simple but bold:
to pray for every middle and high school student in Alabama by name.

We are growing rapidly with a clear goal of reaching all 67 counties in the state. Along the way, we are inviting individuals, families, churches, and students themselves to join this movement and help make a lasting difference through specific, strategic prayer.

Students in Alabama and across the United States matter deeply to God and because of that, they matter to us. We are committed to seeing this simple yet powerful mandate become a reality… one name at a time.
OUR MISSION
What we do is simple: we pray for middle and high school students in Alabama by name.
This happens through our volunteer network of PEN Partners—individuals and families who commit to one day a week to pray for students. Each partner chooses a day, Monday through Saturday, and prays on that same day throughout the year.
Every week, Pray Every Name provides each PEN Partner with a list of about 12 student names to pray over via the Pray Every Name App, which can be accessed on your phone or online. With just 12 PEN Partners, an entire school can be covered in prayer by name in a single semester.
It really is that simple.
