OUR STORY
Launched in 2023, Pray Every Name is changing the spiritual climate surrounding our young people in the State of Alabama. The core of our work lies in a passionate dedication to focused prayer for students in the schools and communities we are in. Our vision is to pray for every middle and high school student in the State of Alabama by name. We are rapidly growing with the intent of reaching all 67 counties in Alabama. Pray Every Name is actively looking for others to paticipate in this great call to make a powerful difference in the lives of our students through specific, strategic, and intentional prayer. We believe every student should be prayed for by name. We believe God desperately and fiercely loves this generation of young people, and that it is the God's intent to show each student their purpose and destiny. The students in Alabama matter to God, and because of this we will work to make this simple mandate from heaven a reality in Alabama, one name at a time.
OUR MISSION
What we do is very simple: we pray for middle and high school students in the State of Alabama by name. We do this through our volunteer network of PEN Partners, who commit to ONE DAY each week to pray for students. Our PEN Partners select a day of the week, Monday through Saturday, and pray for students on that day of the week all year long. Each week Pray Every Name supplies our PEN Partners with a list of about 12 student's names for that week. An entire school can be prayed for by name in one semester with only 12 PEN Partners. It is really that simple!
